Johannes Vermeer silk lining panel - 'View of Delft'
Printed to order
'View of Delft' or in Dutch 'Gezicht op Delft' was painted by Dutch Master Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675) around 1660-1661. This oil on canvas painting depicts the Dutch city of Delft from the south. With its impressive sky, and subtle reflections in the water, this painting is the most famous cityscape of the Dutch seventeenth century. It is part of the collection of the Mauritshuis in Den Haag.
Our lining panels are printed in Macclesfield, a town in England with a history of over 300 years of silk production and printing.
Please note that we currently do not have these panels in stock, they are printed to order. It takes roughly 4-6 weeks before panels are ready for shipping. For most jackets two panels should suffice for lining, but we urge you to check this with your tailor before ordering.
