This striped fabric is made from shantung silk, a kind of raw silk, giving this tie a special rough texture. The stripes are woven in a repp weave from regular silk, to give the tie some extra depth in appearance. The fabric is woven after our design by Seteria Bianchi, one of the very best mills in the Como region, and is expertly handcrafted for Amidé Hadelin by our Italian artisan tie maker. This wonderful tie not only has a fabulous textured look, the feel, knot and drape are equally superb.
