Our classic 1-ply Super Geelong V-neck jumpers are made for us in the Scottish Borders region, by a small family-run business that combines their vast experience with the best of fibres, to produce some of the finest knitwear on the market.
Super Geelong comes from sheep reared in the Geelong area of Southern Australia, where the mild conditions are perfect to produce a wonderfully soft wool.
The first shearing of these sheep is known as Super Geelong, since the fibres are of a finer micron than later clips. This fine micron wool is perfect to make lightweight 1-ply knitwear, like this V-neck jumper.
