'The Windmill at Wijk bij Duurstede' or in Dutch 'De molen bij Wijk bij Duurstede' was painted by Dutch Master Jacob van Ruisdael (1628-1682) around 1670. This oil on canvas painting shows all the elements of the Dutch countryside. The low-lying lands, the water (river Lek), the vast and in this case ominous sky, they all converge at another typical Dutch icon, the windmill. This is one of the most famous paintings by Jacob van Ruisdael, who is well known for his paintings of poetic, impressive, or dramatized landscapes. The painting is part of the collection of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

The pocket squares are printed in Macclesfield, a town in England with a history of over 300 years of silk production and printing.
